Many times, the author skips algebra steps which are not intuitive–and I say this as a student with an undergraduate degree in physics–and is overly fond of saying “trivial” and “clearly” and “with a quick transformation” and so on. Amazon Advertising Find, attract, and engage customers.

This book provides a remarkable, sorely needed, foundational text upon which the science of hydrology will build in the coming decades. The best thing about it in my opinion is that it includes lots of “optional” sections in a different font, so introductiob you want or need to know more about a specific derivation or relationship, it’s laid out very well, but if you aren’t interested a can just skip forward to the next main section.
