I’ve given it a low rating because I have to, to me it was just ‘okay’, but I knew as I was reading it that many others would think far more of it. Getting started on her next book today!

El principal problema lo tengo con los personajes y sus vidas cotidianas: It meant that they had very little beyond the surface for the first half of the book and blended into I was very much looking forward to this book but in the end completely disappointed by it.

Mientras tanto, Erika hace un sorprendente hallazgo: He acted like an idiotic douchebag if you want the truth.

I am thinking of cmailla police chief here who had nothing to do with the case other than to tell his fellow police officers to get back to work. So I was super excited for this one but it fell flat.

Vaya, que me lo he bebido entre libro y libro. To ask other readers questions about Las huellas imborrablesplease sign up.

To see what your friends thought of this book, please sign up. Like, he doesn’t really get it? It felt very much a ‘I know I’m causing you pain but my pain is more important’ thing to me. Given the relief I felt upon getting to the last page I’m not sure why this series is so popular.

Best Patrik Hedstrom book yet in the series for so many reasons. El verano llega a su fin y la escritora Erica Falck vuelve al trabajo tras la baja de maternidad.

Sweden also had a homegrown Nazi movement sympathetic to Germany. Those two things are my only real complaints, so I’m surprised I didn’t like it more than I did. The plot wasn’t as strong—it was too easy to figure out the ending, practically from the start. I did like the relationships in this book.

Las huellas imborrables (Patrik Hedström, #5) by Camilla Läckberg (3 star ratings)

It wasn’t bad but the mystery wasn’t much of a mystery for me. Was the original in as desperate need of editing, or is the translator responsible for the language that really needed to be tightened up?

Won’t read her again. Could what little knowledge she has be enough to endanger her husband and baby girl? So, this must mean I liked Erica even more, right? He did have a great dramatic tone and read with emotion. The retired teacher is found dead and now Detective Patrick Hedstrom, Erica’s husband is involved as he seeks to untangle the web of secrets of the group of childhood friends.

Thrillerreeks – Patrik Hedstrom 5 51 30 Mar 17, One or two of those characters had absolutely nothing to do with moving the plot line along so it felt there was no reason for them having this page time.

Then another one of the friendship group is also killed. In fact, I’m sure that you could skip right over The Hidden Child if you’re reading the series; Lackberg always provides just enough rehash of the main character’s plights so you can discover what happened with them in the last book and move forward.

It was much more psychological twisted.

I found them all sketchy rather than engrossing, but there are people who watch East Endersso de gustibus. The back story on her mothers and friends life during WW2 was interesting but there should have been much more intrigue and less parts which came across as “fillers” Their personal lives are complex, as they have relationships with each other’s exes, and various children are around.

And though this book could easily be read as a stand-alone, there is much to be gained from reading her books in the right order. I should just shut up.

But, like, Patrik will do things like go on an accidental two-hour errand run, while leaving the baby with Erica even though she’s now working and he’s on paternity leave, and then Erica will be pissed at lacmberg You get my drift.

Pues esta entrega no me ha gustado tanto como otras.

Las huellas imborrables

Overall, this is good. The characters are wholly relatable and the mixture of crime solving and ‘real’ life is well balanced. She takes the medal to a retired history teacher and sets forward a chain of events that result in the murders of a group of childhood friends.
