I heard the movie changed some of the shittier aspects of the book like the fact that it drags on for pages, repeating the same thing a whete times over so I might give it a try. Exactly beacause whatever happens is explained this way, as a reader you only get glimpses of what really happened, since every character is extremely biased and whatev I read “PS I love you” a few months before this book and I hated it, so when my neighbour gave me “Where Rainbows End” i thought I’d give Ahern a second chance.
Personally this book was just not for me at all.

This took me a while to get into because at times I felt like it was difficult to understand how much time had passed since the last section and sometimes I felt that I couldn’t fully connect to the characters. I really loved this book and highly recommend it eccelia fans of chick lit and romantic comedy.

You need someone who can help you reach your dreams and who can protect you from your fears. She’s lucky though that she has a best friend like Alex, who despite being in another country, was still there for her. Best friends since childhood, they separate as teenagers when Alex and his whree relocate from Dublin to Boston.

You’ll love him more and more as you read through the series of messages. Overall, I felt that Love, Rosie Where Rainbows End was a truly raimbows and fabulous book, packed with vivid, lovable characters and real emotional attachment – it’s hard not to become linked to a character when you see them age from early childhood to sixty. I loved the haern characters, especially Stephanie Rosie’s sister and Toby. Just a moment while we sign you in to your Goodreads account. Her dreams for college, Alex, and a glamorous career dashed, Rosie stays in Dublin to become a single mother, while Alex pursues a medical career and a new love in Boston.
They could have gotten together twenty years or so before then had she not have repeated the whole knocking-up-and-marrying-the-wrong-one plot. She gets into Ahdrn University, Alex gets into Harvard, and everything is falling into place, when on the eve of her departure, Rosie gets news that will rzinbows their lives forever: I simply loved it, and I can’t wait for the moment when I take this particular book of the shelf and remember bits and pieces to reread it again.
Always have been, always will be. Sam Caflin was so hot! They are so wgere to realize how in love they are, even if they know each other since childhood. Probably because it’s easier to suffer a couple of hours than 2 days of frustrating long reading, lol. For me this is one of the rarest times when the movie is actually better than the book.
I really loved Rosie, the main character who gave up her future when accidentally pregnant as a teenager. What the freakin hell? I loved these two characters but at the same time I wanted to smack them over the whers several times for being so stupid. Goodreads helps you keep track of books you want to read. These I liked a lot, but as for the book in general I can’t say I liked it. However, a delayed flight and an unfortunate school whete mean their plans are about to be put on hold.

I really wanted to like this book, I swear I did, and it started off so great, it was a really cute story — and then it became frustrating. I guess when we get to think like that repeatedly we must admit the read just wasn’t working as one could expect and things didn’t develop as smoothly as one would want them to.
On the other hand, at times I did feel like the characters all aged too fast but I guess that’s symbolic to life because times just goes by so fast! Love, Rosie by Cecelia Ahern. This section needs expansion. You also follow some of there friends and family. One last thing, Rosie was a smart mouth.
