There are too many names for the same thing. Silly drawings and puns are added as they cite a study saying silly is easier to remember. Although it’s supposed to be a side-kick, but this book goldgerg really “clinically” helpful.

Trivia About Clinical Neuroana This book gives an excellent review of all of the some clinical concepts in a way that is easy to understand. I do believe I have an older edition as there was no CD Rom for mine. Beryn Frank for editing the manuscript.
The author tries to be funny and sometimes it works better than others. Might cause confusion for pre-clinical students who haven’t studied neuroanatomy beforehand.
Rather than text definitions of all potentially unfamiliar terms, a selected glossary follows the text. Clinical Neuroanatomy Made Ridiculously Simple is of the second type, a very small book which focuses directly on the clinically pertinent aspects of that basic science.

I found this to be most useful as a refresher during rotations. This isn’t exactly a book you read. But the basic logic of neuroanatomy is simple. One is a large, standard reference text which treats the subject as a basic science. Clinically oriented questions and answers have also been madf, not only for review, but to introduce more subtle cliical not included in the text. Useful addition to other more comprehensive texts.

I thing it’s a good entrance to go deeper in the anatomy of CNS. Oct 22, B rated it liked it. However, major organi- zation of the spinal cord and brain stem is strongly emphasized, as this knowledge is vital in neurological localization and diagnosis. This book lives up to its name!
