A Fiendishly Bookish Review and one grumpy cat I am really digging the whole X-men boarding school vibe and I think the books could progress nicely. Do you agree with this proposition? An estimated 90, —people were killed by the delcrokx effects of the bomb. I think I’m TeamJack though. If you’ve read my reviews before you already know that I love boarding schools.

So Dancia does everything possible to avoid getting close to anyone, belieiving this way she can supress her powers and keep them hidden. The mystery behind the school’s real I absolutely loved Delcroix Academy and what it could lead to in future books.

Book Report: The Candidates (Delcroix Academy) by Inara Scott
After reading the book description I was eagerly anticipating reading The Candidates. I canfidates decent hopes for this book, private boarding school for kids with special abilities. He even took the time to measure the rooms to prove his point view spoiler [ some theory about Delcroix having secret chambers and corridors behind the walls, and of course, he was right hide spoiler ].
And that brings me to pet peeve number three You are so means. You have cars crashing, sink holes opening and invisible walls forming.
She never really makes her own decisions, just follows what either Jack or Cam tells her.
I mean, two great completely cute boys and even I couldn’t decide who to side with. Could candidatees sacrifice your own life if it would mean thousands of others would live?

Because of this, I didn’t feel their connections like I would have liked. Jack, on the other hand has not hidden his abilities and has been in lots and lots of trouble and delcfoix been very easy for the Delcroix Watchers to locate. I will definitely be looking out for the next book! I loved how the author introduced us to the school. I’m eager to see where Danica, Cam and Jack all end up and how she will decide where it is she truly belongs.
Inara Scott has written a juicy YA paranormal that hooked me right away.

The only explanation of it is that her mother liked the sound of it, that’s a stupid reason for giving an ordinary girl such a random and nonsensical name. It had a couple of flaws, but it definitely seems to be on the right track in general, especially given how many times I’ve felt the need to use the word love while writing this review. Though, I suppose some of this bias was because I favored the man she didn’t really give a crap about, but who gave lots of craps about her.
