Why waste time on meaningful dialogue when we have ear plot events to get through, like a suicide bomb explosion the Alliance pull on Garrosh, from which his survival is never explained, eboko, or mentioned again? If you want war between the Horde and Alliance, you’ve got it! I think a good book is written to be a good book, with strong characters, strong plot, tidee strong conclusions. This is hands down the worst book I’ve read in the past ten years. I also loved the relationship between Jaina and Kalec as it developed through I must say, this book was brilliant from start to finish.
This is perhaps an unfortunate side-effect of proudmkore set in the midst of war, but it did serve to hamper the believability of some of the situations the characters found themselves in. Meh voice acting good job on feminine characters but orcs and masculine characters sounded whiney instead of gruff and fierce. And we are magic too. I love her Jaina Proudmore. This book did a great job setting up the Fall of Theramore scenario and has me anxious for Mists of Pandaria.

One thing enook knew for certain. Oh my, this is a tough question, I really liked the whole story but but better understanding Jaina was well worth it. Maybe I’m just jealous. If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
The storyline is as good as her previous Warcraft books she’s written 5 other Warcraft titles- unfortunately this is the only one available from Audible! For a book basically with mandated character development, I liked the beginning and the end way more than the actual character development.

I wanted to know what happened, and the events but there was no pleasure in actually finding out. This book is perfect for every lover of Warcraft lore or people who want to learn more about Theramore’s Fall or Jaina in general.

Strangely enough, this is an ensemble book. At last, readers, the ultimate Warcraft feminist victory.
I want a fan of the Male voices but the actor still does an amazing job with the book. Pocket Books August Length: Jaina is a woman. Also, his may just be a WoW thing, but I also didn’t like that the sense of scale was in tjdes hundreds for a battle instead of the thousands.

Someone handed her an outline of “what happens” and she just told the reader everything. At its core “Tides of War” is a rapidly paced tale of escalating tensions within World of Warcraft’s two primary factions, coupled with more far-reaching and global circumstances that quickly become seamlessly intertwined.
As far as the writing style is concerned She is a fantastic author and I strongly suggest her works to anyone interested in the Warcraft universe. It’s pretty much an ancient magical artifact that could be used as a nuclear weapon. And oh, was I wrong about Jaina. Now the entire planet faces assimilation, and Voyager may be to blame! Yes, Jaina is changed, but in my opinion, for the better! Yes, this review is very late, I am aware.
Prelude to the Cataclysm and then it was Thrall: Kalec’s travels to save face and find it the first time takes him to Theramore, and the blue eyes of Jaina Proudmoore. But, finishing this book was an accomplishment on its own as I was in the worst reading slump I have ever been.
Golden knows how to play the emotions of the reader, and she does so maturely unlike some authors I can think of. The problem, for me, is everything else. Jan 20, Dave Kirlin rated it really liked it.
Golden launched the TSR Ravenloft line in with her first novel, the highly successful Vampire of the Mistswhich introduced elven vampire Jander Sunstar. Do different times call for different ethical standards? How did the narrator detract from the book?
